Tracey Atkin

Tracey’s career in Financial Services started in 1990 with Equity & Law Life Assurance in Leeds, where she was a member of the Business Support Team.  In 1994 she left for fresh opportunities upon which she joined Scottish Life Assurance.  Along the way she gained Full Financial Planning Certificate qualifications.  

In 1999 soon after the Merger of  Equity & Law Life Assurance and Sun Life Assurance she was approached by them to rejoin the organisation which she accepted during which time she was promoted to an Account Manager, this involved visiting, promoting and selling the relevant products to Independent Financial Advisers around the country.  During 2006 she had her second child at which time she decided she needed a more flexible working arrangement allowing her to spend quality time with her young family which her above employers were unable to offer. 

With effect from 1 December 2006, Tracey joined  Hirst & Co Ltd, as they were able to offer a more flexible working arrangement which suited both parties.   She has joined the company as a Trainee Paraplanner which will involve assisting all the current financial advisers with the research and collating of client reports.
